Simon Holdings was formed in 1988 from the amalgamation of existing companies, the oldest of which, Jenrick Recruitment, has been trading for since 1967. Its founder Patrick Murphy, is now Chairman of the Group and is still actively involved in the running of all the companies.

The core business of the Group has been the provision of permanent and contract personnel services to industry. From initially supplying engineering and technical trades, the company now has divisions spanning I.T., Commercial, Medical and Building Services industry sectors, doing so through several UK and Dutch offices.

In addition, Simon Holdings also has the largest independent envelope solution provider within its business portfolio, called Printing Partners.
